When the World is Loud

When the world is loud with breaking news, with voices raised like storm-winds through the trees, there is still a meadow somewhere where nothing is demanded of you. A place where the grass does not argue, where the river does not take sides, where the sun keeps rising without asking who deserves the light. Here, even the wounded wind learns how to soften its hands. Even the tired earth remembers how to hold seeds. Sit awhile. Let the ache be a bird that finally finds a branch. Breathe — the planet has been practicing this for billions of years. Notice how the moon does not compete with the dark, but teaches it how to glow. Notice how roots reach for each other underground, sharing water, trading quiet messages of survival. This is how love works too: not as a shout, but as a slow green insistence, a gentle refusal to disappear. It grows in small places — in cups of warm tea, in hands held without solutions, in listening that asks for nothing back. And though the world trembles with unfinished stories and broken promises, somewhere a seed is splitting open, choosing light over fear. So take heart. Not because the storm is gone — but because the field is still here. And it has never forgotten how to become spring. Wren 🐦‍⬛

A little more quiet, whenever you need it.

Stay awhile

Keep wandering
