A Prayer for Tibet and Nepal

There are moments when words feel too small. In the sacred mountains of Tibet and Nepal, water, mud, stone and ice have swept through valleys and villages, carrying homes, roads, temples, livelihoods— and lives. How many, we still do not know. Kathmandu waits. Families wait. Rescuers search through mud and debris. And across the world, those of us who can do nothing but witness hold them in our hearts. May those who have died be released from suffering. May those who are missing be found. May those who are frightened find shelter and helping hands. May the injured receive care. May the grieving be surrounded by compassion. May the rescuers have strength and protection. And may we remember that these mountains, rivers, animals, forests and people are not somewhere *else.* They belong to the same living earth that holds us all. Today, perhaps there is nothing to say. Only this: **May all beings be free from suffering.** **May all beings find peace.** 🙏 ~Wren 🐦‍⬛

A little more quiet, whenever you need it.
